In many developing countries, children must walk barefoot for miles to school, clean water and medical help
Hundreds and millions of children are at risk of injury, infection, and soil-transmitted diseases that most can't afford to prevent and treat.
Often, children cannot attend school without shoes.
All this could be resolved with a pair of shoes
I did it last year, and im gonna do it this year. Will you join me? Even if you can't do it all day. Atleast commit to an hour, or even 5 minutes.
The point is to experience life without shoes first hand and raise awareness for those who dont have a choice of walking barefoot.
They dont get to worry about if the ground is gross or not.... They. Have. No. Choice. You do. So make the choice to go one day without shoes:)
